Founder, President & CEO / Chairman

Wayne Freeman

Florida-licensed real estate broker and community association management professional.

Wayne founded Home Rebound on the belief that a temporary financial hardship should never automatically become a housing crisis. He leads the organization's strategic direction, partnerships, fundraising, and program development.

As a licensed real estate broker and community association management professional, Wayne has seen firsthand how a single missed payment can unravel a family's stability. That experience drives his commitment to fast, direct, and dignified assistance.

Treasurer / Board of Directors

Kwame Ferguson

15+ years in residential and commercial property management, including LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD compliance.

Kwame brings more than 15 years of residential and commercial property management experience to the board. He works at CBRE in commercial real estate and previously managed multifamily communities, including properties with LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD compliance.

He holds a BS in Political Science from Jacksonville University and was named Real Estate Manager of the Year, receiving the 2026 Exceptional Performance Award. As Treasurer, he oversees financial stewardship and accountability.

Terry Knight

20+ years across technology, operations, and business — including IT, automation, cybersecurity, and AI.

Terry brings over 20 years of experience in technology, operations, and business to the board, with expertise spanning IT, automation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. He also helped build and scale a seven-figure short-term rental business.

As Secretary, he applies an entrepreneurial and technology-focused perspective to the governance and growth of Home Rebound, strengthening how the organization operates and serves families.
